Who you are Ideally, you have over 2 years of experience as a software engineering manager, leading teams responsible for high-scale production services. You possess at least 5 years of professional software development experience, contributing to the development of full-stack web applications and/or distributed systems. You excel at aligning and executing new technical ideas, demonstrating an understanding of best practices. Proven experience in driving effective execution with agile processes in a dynamic environment. A people-oriented leader, capable of modelling and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture. Exceptional at communicating, passionate about technology and committed to raising the bar. Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones is advantageous. Proficient in English. Bonus Points: Hands-on experience designing and building cloud-native architecture for AWS, GCP, or similar. Why Box needs you Core Experiences is engineering organization responsible for Box’s end-user products focused on Web and Mobile experiences at Box. These include all the key end user experiences like Box Web App, Uploads, Downloads, Sharing, Search, Preview, AI Features and more. As the Manager on the Web team you will be responsible for owning a large surface area and driving the team that is responsible for the team that focusses on building key end user facing features on this team.
