We’re seeking a performance-focused Backend Node.js Developer to drive advancements in functionality, scalability, and user experience. You will join a team that is actively developing a new event-driven microservices architecture to form a foundational platform for delivering new trading Applications.  Must-Haves: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science 3+ years of experience developing web applications Expert-level Node.js and TypeScript knowledge, and curiosity to learn more Experience with modern distributed systems Automated unit testing and test-driven development Robust understanding of performance issues, computational complexity, and code optimization Superior analytical and problem-solving ability Familiarity and implementation of industry-standard algorithms and design patterns Effective communication skills to work with different teams across an international company Proactive and team player who can deliver in a high-pressure demanding environment Nice-to-Haves: Hands-on experience with at least one infrastructure technology such as Apache Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, or MongoDB.
