Senior Security Engineer @ Zendesk

What you bring to the role: A team first, collaborative approach. The ability to influence other teams without direct authority. At least 5 years of experience in Security, with at least 3 years of cloud infrastructure development, software engineering, and SaaS security experience. Experience leveraging data lake solutions, such as Snowflake, for cyber security use cases. Wide ranging experience with enterprise security tools and technologies. Programming experience involving real-world development. Strong understanding of AWS products and services, their unique risks, and how to address those risks. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a capability to innovate and create custom solutions. Nice to have: AWS certifications or other cloud based certifications. Security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, GSEC, GWEB, GPEN, OSCP, CEH, CCSP, etc. Involvement in local or regional security user groups or conferences.
