Senior Firewall Engineer with Python @ CodiLime

Do we have a match? As a Senior Firewall Engineer you should ideally meet the following criteria: 7+ years of experience in Networks related roles Excellent expertise in networks, network security and network platforms Hands-on experience with configuration and troubleshooting of firewalls from at least two of the following vendors: Cisco (ASA and Firepower), Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet Proven track record in customer-facing roles Hands-on scripting in Python Experience with production grade deployments Knowledge of Linux Fluency in English (B2 level minimum) Willingness to learn – you will face challenges that require creativity, individual solutions and teamwork Readiness to work flexible hours (regular meetings with US based customers in the afternoons and evenings) Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate: Detailed multi-vendor firewall knowledge and configuration migration experience Firewall vendor certification Experience in deployment and/or maintenance of SASE/SSE solutions (e.g. Palo Alto, ZScaler) Understanding of DevOps tools and practices Hands-on experience with Ansible, Docker, VMWare Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines Understanding of best practices in enterprise network security Get to know us better CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms.
