What you need to have to succeed in this role University degree in Computer Science or similar 3+ years of experience of embedding Data Governance processes and standards. Experience with rolling out Data Governance frameworks and roadmaps, aligning and documenting data definitions, setting up a proper data governance organization, and Data Quality controls  Varied and detailed knowledge of Data Management areas such as Data Quality, Data Migration, Metadata Management etc. Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to enable continuous improvement culture. Your career opportunity The AVP, Model Data Governance is a key role to lead and manage all CIB Data & Analytics Platform risk model data governance activities aligned with wider HSBC data policies and strategy. The position will focus on establishing and ensuring adherence to a risk model data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality and protection to meet overall business strategy needs as well as adherence to the existing HSBC data quality framework. The AVP, Model Data Governance role serves as single point of contact for model data governance compliance, processes, controls and issues and will work closely with CIB stakeholders to improve the quality and value of core modelling data assets.
