Accounting Process Owner

Your roleWhat We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Accounting Process Owner within our CCS division. This position falls under our Accounting & Finance line of business and is located in Prague. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, enhancing, and maintaining the efficiency and integrity of accounting processes within the Accounting team. You will report directly to the Financial Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with different accounting teams and cross-functional teams.What you'll be doing

Role Responsibilities

• Reviewing and improving existing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

• Identifying and resolving both known and emerging process gaps

• Ensuring proper documentation is created, maintained, and updated by all team members

• Supporting the implementation and integration of the FEIS (finance system)

• Coordinating with Finance process optimization experts and other technical stakeholders

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on systems and process optimization

• Performing ad hoc tasks with a focus on enhancing accounting operations and internal controls

• Participating in new process transitions and supporting change initiatives

• Engaging in business continuity, risk management, and continuous improvement plans
   

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience
• 6+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years focused on process improvement
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial systems
• Proven experience with process documentation and optimization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to completion
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
