The Role

Our team in Czechia is responsible for software assets in DHI's technology portfolio, and we are looking for a Product Owner (PO) to join the team. While your job title will be Product Owner, the role contains elements of Project and Delivery Management.

As a Product Owner in our team, you will be responsible for handling the backlog of products the team in Czechia is developing (with assistance from developers abroad), as well as ensuring delivery of installations and new features related to these products to multiple projects locally and/or overseas (remotely). In parallel with managing product specific backlogs, you will assist our Head of Department, highlighting resource crunches across projects.

You will work both independently as PO/DM and collaborate with Business Owners and other stakeholders in the organisation. As DHI is an international organisation with world class experts and strong stakeholders, you need to have excellent interpersonal and strong leadership skills, and be able to communicate progress, status and issues in a transparent manner, while providing pushback to leadership and stakeholders when necessary.

We are looking for an experienced Agile professional with strong analytics skills, oriented towards customer and product excellence.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring successful delivery of features and functionality of multiple products.
• Coordination of client specific projects related to the products with internal business unit.
• Defining product vision, specification, and roadmaps.
• Ensuring scope and delivery on budget.
• Managing tasks, backlogs, resources, and distribution of work.
• Facilitate stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives etc.
• In cooperation with stakeholders, plan and prioritize product features to ensure alignment with product strategy.
• Lead iteration and release planning to create and maintain business value.
• Coordination with other Product Owners to ensure alignment with DHI's other products.
• Liaise and negotiate with stakeholder and/or clients.

Skills and Qualifications

• B.Sc / B.IT will be accepted however M.Sc/ M.IT is considered advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience working as Product Owner, Delivery Manager and / or Project Manager.
• Proficient skills in written and verbal Czech and English.
• You need to be located in CZ Republic and able to attend the office at least 3 days per week.
• Strong personality but good negotiator when dealing with strong-willed stakeholders.
• In-Depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
• Proficient knowledge of issues tracking system, such as Azure DevOps, JIRA.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel several days per year for visiting the main office (Denmark).
