VAT Compliance Specialist

As a VAT Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting VAT compliance procedures in the EMEA region. The Brno VAT team consists today of 16 young people, who are not only colleagues, but like to spend time together outside work as well. Team has been steadily growing in last years and is expected to continue growing further in the future.

What will be your RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Preparing VAT returns, EC Sales/Purchase Listings, Control statements, Intrastat returns and other related reports for many European countries. #DataWillBeYourWorld
• Being VAT expert for other internal finance teams and guide them through the VAT world
• Cooperating with tax advisors and other relevant stakeholders
• Being part of various finance projects to ensure proper tax treatment
• Supporting internal and external audits

What do we EXPECT from you?

• Tax or finance experience from university or previous job. Students are also welcomed
• Fluent English as you will be communicating with foreign colleagues on daily basis
• User knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel should be your friend J
• Strong sense of responsibility, good time management and analytical thinking
• Ability to introduce own ideas
• Be able to work independently on assigned task as well as cooperate within the team
• Second foreign language and SAP/Oracle knowledge is an advantage
