We are currently hiring for the position of Process Expert – Wood Supply. You will be working for Business Unit Wood Products South, and you will report to Team leader Wood Procurement Administration.
 

Your location will be in one of our BU South offices in Austria (Brand, Bad St. Leonhard, or Ybbs an der Donau) or Czechia (Ostrava, Planá, Ždírec).

As a Process Expert – Wood Supply, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting WP South business processes, contributing to their development and operating related IT solutions to enable sustainable growth and maintain efficient operation of our business

• Developing solutions/processes/tools based on defined guidelines and within a moderate scope

• Applying developed professional knowledge and skills to solve common (and sometimes complex) issues within defined guidelines

• Developing, harmonizing, and standardizing processes and IT solutions across mills and wood supply

• Contributing as an expert in business development (projects, small enhancements)

• Creating a specification for needed moderate changes in IT systems

• Acceptance testing of changes in the IT systems including creating a test protocol

• Supporting end users related to questions and challenges with defined IT solutions

• Training and educating personnel on existing or new processes and new features in the IT systems

• Directing personnel to use defined IT solutions in a common and harmonized way

• Verifying the problem in IT system and describe problem to developers

• Maintaining access rights in IT systems.

• Key IT systems are EVK, IT solutions from Latschbacher supplier, StoraEnso DigiLog or Mill gate solution

Requirements for applicants:

• 2+ years of experience in EVK or IT solutions from Latschbacher supplier

• Fluent English; Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• StoraEnso Digilog solution or SE Mill gate is an advantage

• Advantage is communication in Finnish/German/Czech/Polish

• Systematic way of working, analytical skills

• Experience in supporting other people, enjoying helping others

• Ability to work with colleagues from abroad

• Willingness to learn new things

• Openness

• Ability to work at the same time with different challenges

• Ability to work without close supervision / work independently

• Ability to travel

• Experience in working as part of distributed teams

• Experience with supply chain processes is an advantage

• Experience within the Wood Products Industry is an advantage

Specifically in Austria:

• The position is subject to a collective agreement minimum salary of €2,552.50 gross per month. Depending on qualifications and experience, we are prepared to offer a significantly higher salary. Please include your desired compensation in your application documents.
