Job Description

The Medior AI/Platform Engineer contributes to the implementation and support of Mosaic AI as a governed, multi-tenant, self-service platform. This role focuses on delivering golden paths, SDKs, CLIs, templates, and evaluation patterns that enable scalable and responsible AI agent development. You'll collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to build robust platform capabilities and ensure seamless integration across the AI ecosystem.

YOUR ROLE

• Support the development and integration of Mosaic AI tools into a self-service platform.
• Build and maintain SDKs, CLIs, and reusable templates for agent creation and deployment.
• Collaborate on agent behavior design aligned with agentic AI principles.
• Implement and monitor agent workflows using the Mosaic AI Agent Framework.
• Apply MLflow for experiment tracking and model registry management.
• Contribute to feature engineering, data preprocessing, and model evaluation workflows.
• Assist in deploying models using containerization and MLOps best practices.
• Work with AutoML tools and support evaluation strategies for agent performance.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and stakeholders to refine and improve development paths.

YOUR PROFILE

• Solid experience with Databricks Mosaic AI and agent development tools.
• Understanding of agentic AI principles and agent behavior design.
• Familiarity with Databricks ML platform and Spark ML.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries such as scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy.
• Experience with the Mosaic AI Agent Framework for agent creation and testing.
• Knowledge of MLflow for tracking experiments and managing model lifecycle.
• Skilled in agent monitoring and evaluation techniques.
• Basic understanding of containerization and model deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with AutoML tools and model evaluation methods.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
