As we expand our footprint in Central Europe, we are looking for a dynamic Site HR Manager HR function in Ostrava, Czech Republic. This is a pivotal generalist role, acting as the first point of contact for employees and business leaders, ensuring compliance, driving people strategy, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with our global standards.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR operations for the Ostrava site (or nearby sites), ensuring the right HR team structure is in place.
  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and collaborate closely with Cluster HR and regional CoEs.
  • Drive standardization and implementation of HR policies, practices, and compliance frameworks.
  • Oversee labor and employee relations, including union/work council engagement and collective bargaining (if applicable).
  • Support site-level workforce planning, talent strategy, and performance management.
  • Ensure smooth transition of transactional HR activities to the country shared service center.
  • Promote DP World's culture and values across the site and support community outreach initiatives.
  • Deliver key HR metrics and respond to formal governmental or union-related matters when required.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Labor Relations, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead HR teams in dynamic environments.
  • Strong generalist background with expertise in compliance, labor relations, and change management.
  • Experience working with payroll providers and managing local compensation processes.
  • Czech (mother tongue), fluent in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong process orientation and a track record of driving cross-regional HR alignment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
