Frontend SW Engineer

The Red Hat Lightspeed Engineering team is looking for a frontend Software Engineer to join us. In this role, you will use your software development expertise to contribute to Security and Operations services on As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate with a distributed engineering team to ensure Red Hat solutions reach customers in a timely fashion with excellent quality. Prior exposure to container-based application development at scale is a plus.

What you will do

• Design, implement and deliver new features, including coordinating contributions with other developers in the team
• Technical project contribution by fixing defects, reviewing pull requests, and writing unit / integration test cases
• Collaborate with a globally distributed development team, including mentoring junior developers
• Demo the developed features with all stakeholders

What you will bring

• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of object-oriented software development experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solid programming experience with React
• Experience developing with Git in a Linux environment is aplus
• Experience working with Python/Go is a big plus
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, or Fedora is welcome
