Your mission

Role 
Wattstor is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the delivery of energy management and storage solutions by providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle – from pre-sales through commissioning and aftersales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • support to sales in pre-TG5 activities, supporting development of the followingdeliverables Basis of Design, Single Line Diagrams, Interfaces identified, Functional specification HW/SW variances, site survey, risk register, planning requirements identified,
  • accountable to the project manager for project engineering support through frontend engineering design (FEED) and detail design to support technical aspects of the project,
  • interface with the technical team to ensure all project engineering requirements are met in accordance with project delivery timeframes,
  • responsible for ensuring installation and O&M manuals are provided to customers in a timely manner,
  • technical support to the installation and commissioning teams,
  • support on a temporary basis project management and aftersales service activities.


Your profile

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, automation, energy systems, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with technical project engineering, ideally involving energy systems, BESS (battery energy storage), or industrial automation
  • Solid understanding of engineering documentation – including Single Line Diagrams, functional specs, site surveys, and risk registers
  • Ability to work across Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design phases
  • Comfortable collaborating with sales, project managers, and commissioning teams
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical matters to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – the role is part of an international team
  • Fluent in Czech or Slovak language
