Popis pozice

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our distributed development team. The customer is a large Nordic bank that is a part of one of Europe's biggest financial groups, offering a wide range of financial services.

In this role, you will be a part of a multi-national Scrum team building a new set of services for core banking integration functionality. You will work closely with your team, the product owner, and other stakeholders.

Daily communication with colleagues onsite as well as with other developers/business users and occasional business trips will be an essential part of the working process.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Perform continuous manual testing and bug tracking

  • Communicate with developers and product owner

  • Participate in existing operations and maintain the services

Professional requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience with software testing

  • Ability to develop your own testing strategy

  • Ability to extensively describe bugs

  • Basic knowledge of ISTQB

  • Experience with REST

  • You should be creative and exploratory (no test scenarios), not be afraid to speak up and escalate

  • English: intermediate high, both verbal and written

  • Knowledge of Norwegian language is a plus
