YOUR FUTURE ROLE       

In this global role, you will act as the Subject Matter Expert for Facility Services & Space Management within SAP's Global Real Estate & Facilities (GRF) organization. You will ensure that SAP maintains best-in-class standards for facility operations and space management across more than 200 locations worldwide.

What you'll build

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the global framework, standards, and guidelines for Facility Services and Space Management.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to regional Facility Services teams, ensuring alignment with GRF's global operating model.
  • Manage and steer global vendor relationships, selecting service providers, monitoring performance, resolving escalations, and driving innovation in delivery models.
  • Guarantee business continuity for Facility Services globally and act as escalation point for critical operational issues.
  • Own and evolve space management standards, ensuring consistency across all regions and alignment with workplace and business strategies.
  • Evaluate the impact of workspace changes on employee satisfaction, productivity, and collaboration, and translate insights from employee feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Drive innovation in facility services and space solutions, challenging existing practices and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, sustainability, and user experience.

What you bring:

You bring deep expertise in Facility Services & Space Management and the ability to define and implement global standards in a complex, matrixed environment. You are equally comfortable with strategic leadership, vendor management, and operational problem-solving, and you thrive on shaping frameworks that ensure consistency and innovation across regions.

You offer:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Facility Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Facility Services operations, best practices, and innovations, ideally in a global corporate environment.
  • Experience managing global vendors and service providers, with a proven ability to drive performance and partnership.
  • Track record in space management frameworks and tools, with the ability to connect workplace design, usage, and employee experience.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading global initiatives and change programs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to ensure alignment across regions and functions.
