We're Hiring: Machine Learning Engineer at DataSentics (Part-Time or Full-Time)

What You'll Do
As a Machine Learning Engineer at DataSentics, your focus will be on turning prototypes into scalable, reliable ML solutions. You'll work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design and build machine learning pipelines that deliver real business value — not just in notebooks, but in production.

  • Engineer robust solutions: Develop and optimize end-to-end ML workflows using Python and PySpark, from data ingestion and transformation to model development.
  • Test and validate: Run experiments and POCs to evaluate model performance and potential.
  • Deploy and scale: Bring models into production with tools like Git, CI/CD, and model registries. You'll work in cloud environment to automate deployment, monitor performance, and ensure maintainability.

Our Projects & Technology Stack

  • We work on real-world challenges across diverse industries like banking, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce, using a wide range of customer data sources, including call center logs, customer segmentation data, IoT sensors, and web analytics. These are just a few examples, the scope of our work is broad and constantly evolving as new data and technologies emerge.
  • Tech we love: Python, SQL, Pandas, PySpark, Databricks. We deploy on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
  • How we work: Small, focused teams (2–5 people), agile workflows, and strong collaboration between engineers, analysts, scientists, and PMs.
  • Remote-first culture: Work where you're the most productive, at home, in the office, or a mix of both. Most of our work happens remotely, with optional offices in Prague (near Muzeum metro) and Brno (ImpactHub).
  • Flexible working: Part-time roles available starting at 30 hours/week.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with data processing and modeling.
  • Familiarity with machine learning workflows and real-world datasets.
  • Awareness of engineering best practices (such as version control, testing, and clean code).
  • Experience in cloud-based environments is a plus.
