Senior Scrum Master

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

About the role:

As a Senior Scrum Master, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will be a servant leader and coach for one or more complex, high-visibility Agile teams, fostering an environment where continuous improvement and self-organization thrive. Our customer is leading firm at the intersection of fashion and technology (or digital strategy). We drive innovation and growth for our clients - ranging from high-street mega-brands to luxury labels and e-commerce giants - by building and optimizing cutting - edge digital products, marketing platforms, and data-driven solutions. Our environment is fast-paced, highly collaborative, and focused on delivering exceptional value to the fashion industry's digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Agile Coaching & Mentorship: Act as a seasoned coach and mentor to the Product Owner, Development Team, and the wider organization on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and scaled frameworks
• Impediment Resolution: Proactively identify, address, and remove sophisticated impediments that block the team's progress, often involving cross-functional stakeholders or complex organizational structures
• Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in team processes, metrics, and practices, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and rapid delivery cycles, especially in a fast-moving, design-focused digital environment
• Stakeholder Management: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the development team and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring transparency around project status, risks, and dependencies
• Cross-Team Coordination: Work with other Scrum Masters and management to coordinate dependencies between multiple teams, especially in a scaled environment, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of the overall product vision
• Metric Reporting & Transparency: Collect, analyze, and present key performance indicators (e.g., burn-down charts, velocity, lead time) to help the team and stakeholders understand team health, predictability, and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Deep Scrum Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Scrum framework and its application, evidenced by a professional certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) II)
• Proven Experience: Experience working as a dedicated Scrum Master, with a significant portion spent in a Senior or Lead capacity, preferably within the Digital, E-commerce, or Fashion Technology sectors
• Scaling Framework Knowledge: Experience with scaling Agile to multiple teams using frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or
• Conflict Resolution & Facilitation: Exceptional facilitation skills for all Scrum ceremonies and the ability to skillfully mediate conflicts and guide teams through complex decision-making processes
• Data-Driven Approach: Proficiency in using Agile metrics to diagnose team performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) tools and technologies, such as JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines

Desirable:

• Experience in an agency or client-facing environment, managing expectations for multiple projects/clients simultaneously
• Background in software engineering, QA, or product management is a plus
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM), or Agile Coach (ICP-ACC)
