What is the role?
BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking, Prague office, offers a full-time position on a local permanent contract for a Relationship Manager role in BNPP CZ Branch focusing on Pilot clients.
What are the main responsibilities?
Present all relevant business lines to the local large clients with a special focus on fee revenue opportunities (e.g. Identify and act on investment banking opportunities)
Expand the flow banking coverage for the growing number of international subsidiaries working closely with MNC teams across the bank
Actively manage portfolio efficiency and profitability by identifying capital rotation/offloading opportunities, pricing, insurance etc.
Prospect the local environment of companies to selectively onboard new high potential clients (conglomerates, OIC, technology/services etc.)
Manage relationships with clients in his/her portfolio and act as primary client entry point
Originate the complete range of corporate banking business according to the client's needs to increase revenues
Originate opportunities to sell services of group entities to clients in his/her scope
Coordinate and communicate with other RMs of his/her clients in the Group and implement the strategy defined for the client
Ensure the active monitoring and reporting of credit risks on his/her client portfolio
Prepare credit applications in cooperation with Credit Analysts
Leverage Local Head of the branch as well as product line teams when needed
Ensure that compliance rules and all BNPP regulations for client intake and client servicing are observed as well as any local country regulations with respect to his/her client portfolio

What qualities are we looking for?
Master's degree in economics, finance or other relevant subject
Corporate banking experience of 10 to 15 years is a must
Financial literacy and knowledge of the Czech/Slovak economic environment
Czech/Slovak language is a must, fluency in English (both written and verbal) is also required
Ability to identify and develop business opportunities with his/her customers locally and abroad
Strong commercial and communication / relationship management skills. Experience in managing key stakeholder relationships, with excellent ability to negotiate, support and guide clients and internal business partners
A strong team player, with cross cultural awareness to work effectively within diverse local and international teams
