Your area of work:

Deutsche Börse Group is a leading financial services provider, covering the full value chain of trading, clearing, settlement, and market data for stocks and derivatives. Our global success relies on highly integrated and automated IT solutions, which are core to Deutsche Börse's operations and provide companies and investors with access to global capital markets. Within Corporate IT, the Security IT section plays a crucial role in safeguarding these systems and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Security Engineer to join our Security IT Section. In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of security solutions, with a focus on data and systems security. You will work in a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise will have a direct impact on the security posture of a leading global organization.

Your responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement a scalable and robust IT Security solutions
• Manage and maintain the IT Security infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Identify areas of improvement and propose enhancements to existing environments
• Automate tasks and processes using scripting tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform)
• Collaborate with other security and IT teams on security projects and integrations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes and configurations
• Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging threats, and new technologies in the Security landscape
• Provide occasional on-call support (rotational basis) to ensure business continuity

Your profile:

• Experience in designing, implementing, and managing Security solutions
• Solid understanding of core security concepts
• Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., BASH, Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform)
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of Linux security concepts, experience in server administration
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
• Knowledge of IT security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework)
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g. Azure, GCP)
