Description

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Full Stack (Java) Engineer to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role:

As a Senior Full Stack (Java) Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend components, APIs, and integrations under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Implement data processing logic and contribute to message routing and delivery modules
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization of microservices
  • Support functional and performance testing with QA engineers

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in backend development )
  • Understanding of event-driven systems (Kafka, MQTT)
  • Familiar with AWS Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, S3, and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Git, REST APIs, and microservice communication patterns
