Role Overview

The Rewards function is in charge of the strategical design, compensation management and recognition programmes to attract, retain, and motivate employees. By creating competitive salary structures, benefits packages, and incentive programmes, the Rewards function aims to attract top talent, drive high-performance, and foster a positive work environment. Regular market research and compliance monitoring ensure that the organization's compensation and benefits remain competitive and legally sound. Ultimately, the function plays a vital role in shaping the overall employee experience by promoting job satisfaction, engagement, and organizational success.

Responsibilities:

To provide analytical and advisory support for the implementation of regional compensation and benefit programmes, ensuring accurate execution of reward processes, market benchmarking, system data integrity, and delivery of high-quality insights to guide business and HR decisions.

  • Scan the environment of AEI markets to identify remuneration trends; conduct analyses of various aspects of compensation and benefits within region; analyse surveys and internal data to ensure appropriate compensation across all functions.

  • Support Head of C&B in the implementation and management of compensation and/or benefits programmes; contribute to design and improvements. Identify and implement change management actions.

  • Manage regional annual remuneration review cycle, including HUB, local Excom teams and expatriates in the region. Manage regional FTE planning and paycosts budgeting process.

  • Manage HUB merit increase process according to the agreed governance; advise executives on the appropriate increases.

  • Deliver competitive analysis, salary structures, ad hoc analysis and C&B reports as needed, including Equal Pay and other DEI analysis.

  • Review job descriptions for various positions and act as regional job evaluation steering committee member; determine and advise the grade and appropriate base pay, and remuneration package; escalate to Head of C&B as appropriate.

  • Manage, or contribute to, various regional HR and C&B projects.

  • Contribute in global initiatives as regional representative; roll out global projects per agreed implementation plan.

  • Maintain and advise on regional policies including company cars, benefits, mobility and grading; continuously look for improvements in regional policies.

  • Act as primary C&B contact for the country C&B teams, advising on complex cases, policy updates and off-cycle remuneration decisions.

  • Support recruitment and retention through deployment of C&B strategy.

  • Job holder might be accountable for any HUB remuneration related governance, paycosts, and regional HUB HR operations including payroll.

Job holder might be accountable for leading the optimization of C&B/HR digital tools and platforms for total rewards processes; championing the use of advanced data analytics and modelling; developing and leading initiatives for enhanced data transparency and visualization through dashboards, scorecards, and regular data storytelling.

Experience

  • University degree
  • 5+ years experience as C&B Manager of a relevant international company, or 10+ years of proven experience in HR managerial roles
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding one of the job evaluation methodologies (Mercer, KornFerry, WTW) and compensation market data
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors compensation modules is an advantage
  • Fluent English, other languages might be an advantage
