Warranty/CAP Account Manager

This position is responsible for day-to-day management and adjudication of Customer Commercial Warranty and CAP Claims for new and used helicopters, new and used spare parts.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Main responsabilities are ensuring that Warranty CAP Claims are justified and valid in accordance with Bells warranty policy, and CAP contract requirements. Provide our customer with replacement parts new or reconditioned and labor during the warranty period. CAP claims are adjudicated per the CAP contract Agreement. Cordination of claims includes working with Customer Support Engineers (CSE's), Product Support Engineering (PSE) and, Fort Worth warranty office.
Administer compliance with warranty policy for all claims except for those items that are made an exception and approved by Warranty Manager/Program Manegement and Director Level. Correct charging of claims to the appropriate warranty Work Breakown Structures (WBS's) .
Work with Global Compliance to ensure adherence to Import/Export Requirements regarding ITAR controlled parts, etc.
Monitor Customer Credit limits before shipment of and invoicing for completed parts. Assist in resolution of pending/overdue amounts/customers accounts as necessary. Ensure proper invoicing/charging to customers for warranty pro-rated replacement parts.Core management returns and invoicing for non returns.
Education
4 year degree in Enginering, Finance, or Aviation related field. Other degrees may be considered when combined with relevant experience.
A&P, CAA, EASA Engineers lisence or equilavent.
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5 years in Aerospace or related field is desired. The incumbent requires the ability to adjudicate warranty within the commercial warranty policy on behalf of the customer and Bell Helicopter. Requires strong customer focus, communication skills, and negotiation skills. Must be able to think outside of the standard warranty policy bringing a well balanced resolution for the customer and Bell.
Fluent in English
University education (Transport, Logistics) / 5 years experiences in Aerospace
Orientation in Aerospace products
Knowledge of the information tools used in purchase management
PC skills including Microsoft Office (Strong Excel Skills)
Driving license B
