At OAK'S LAB, design is central to everything we build. We're offering the perfect blend of support and responsibility: You will be quickly empowered to take full ownership of challenging design initiatives on one of our live products. This isn't theoretical; this is real-world value creation, collaborating with our experienced engineering and product teams. Your steep learning curve will be fully supported. You'll be supported by our Head of Design or a Senior Designer through consistent mentorship and coaching. We're looking for someone who loves to experiment, learn, operate on the edge of technology and eager to tackle any challenge, while helping us keep a consistent high bar of quality. Bring your ambition and a solid portfolio (even if it's outside digital product design) and join our growing team of 7 designers. RESPONSIBILITIES Conceptualize and design digital products, websites and brands from discovery to delivery Closely collaborate and drive product decisions alongside Tech Lead and Product Manager Conduct user testing to understand your users' goals and validate your proposals Craft a beautiful visual direction and translate it consistently through the project Ensure adherence to UX/UI standards, elements, patterns, and specifications Develop consistent design systems and contribute to the project documentation alongside PMs Manage your design delivery based on project plan & milestones Explore new approaches, AI technologies and always be ready to learn SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS 1 years of design experience or design focused school A portfolio that demonstrates your eye for design and taste for aesthetics while showcasing the outcomes of your design solutions by applying UX/UI patterns & principles Interest in visual design, user experience and ideally also branding Fluent in English with strong communication skills to present and effectively advocate for your ideas At least basic knowledge of industry standard tools like Adobe Suite and Figma Drive to learn and continuously improve Proactive team spirit Last but not least - a genuine interest in tech, product development, and design BENEFITS Flexible working hours 26 days off 1 additional day for every year working with OAK'S LAB (capped at 30 days) Top-of-the-line MacBook and hardware budget Budget to spend on your growth (books, courses, conferences) Free English lessons Team bonding, happy hours, online games, and annual offsite trips Cross-department clubs (yoga, traveling, football, dancing, and more) The most photographed office in Prague, right on Old Town Square (and dog-friendly too)
