We are hiring a Backend Developer to join our client, a global pharmaceutical leader with its IT hub in Prague. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to work in a hybrid regime, contributing to impactful projects in a collaborative international team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of Python-based web applications using Django and FastAPI/REST API within AWS environments.

  • Design and implement AWS solution architectures.

  • Build and optimize solutions leveraging AWS services such as APIs, Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB.

  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.

  • Contribute to front-end/backend integration with TypeScript.

  • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions for deployment automation.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.



Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
  • Strong expertise in Python (Django, FastAPI/REST API).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript.
  • Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
