Deutsche Börse Group is one of the largest exchange organisations worldwide. As a financial marketplace organizer, the company provides a portfolio of services covering the entire process chain: securities and derivatives trading and clearing, netting and transaction settlement, custody, and provision of market information. Information Technology designs, builds, and operates the technological infrastructure of the company. These highly integrated and automated IT systems are essential to our success.

We are looking for a dedicated software technical tester with development experience to join our strategic Architecture and Test Team located in Eschborn and Prague. You will work in our IT development centre in Prague and help us advance the technology and functionality of our Trading systems. We use self-developed, open source and commercial software. Our stringent requirements in terms of complex functionality, high reliability and availability, latency, throughput, scalability and operability will thoroughly challenge your technical and testing skills and provide ample opportunities for continuous improvement. You will join a team of outstanding engineers: professional testers and developers working across Frankfurt and Prague close together in a pleasant atmosphere.

Your responsibilities:

Development, maintenance, and execution of test cyclesStability tests (load tests, failover)Performance testsOperating testsBug-fix testingSystem integration testingDevelopment and maintenance of testing automate toolsDevelopment and maintenance of software installation, configuration and maintenance toolsProposing and testing improvements

Your profile:

Very good Linux skills, RedHat preferredPythonShell scripting, bash (other programming experience)MySQL, SQLNetwork protocols TCP, UDP, Multicast etc.JBoss and Tomcat administration basicsFamiliar with Jenkins and GitHub, tools used for test automationAnalytical skills and a feel for technical issuesCritical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutionsA team player with good verbal and written communication skills. English is essential, German is beneficialBasic knowledge of exchange services, trading, and securities would be helpful
