What you'll work on

  • Data strategy & operations

    • Oversee our own data architecture and internal tooling, drive its development and maintenance.

  • Thought leadership & advocacy

    • Represent the company at conferences, meetups, and webinars, sharing insights and driving brand recognition.

    • Produce white papers, blogs, and other content to advocate for the future of data notebooks.

    • Conduct strategic research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the data space.

  • Sales engineering support

    • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise during the sales process.

    • Customize and present data solutions to potential clients, demonstrating the value of our products.

  • Customer success & support

    • Partner with the customer success team to ensure our users get maximum value from Deepnote.

    • Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing expert guidance on data-related challenges.

    • Lead the creation of customer case studies, showcasing successful implementations and outcomes.

About you

  • Proven experience in a senior data role, preferably as a Head of Data, Director of Data, or similar position.

  • Strong background in data engineering, data science, and data management.

  • You love solving data problems and helping others.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the data landscape and emerging trends.

  • A track record of thought leadership in the data industry, including published content or speaking engagements.
