Your responsibilities at snuggs:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.

  • Develop financial models and forecasts to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics.

  • Analyze financial results and key business drivers, identifying risks, opportunities, and trends.

  • Present actionable insights to leadership, supporting strategic initiatives.

  • Act as a financial advisor to cross-functional teams, providing support on operational decisions and project evaluations.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment and accuracy in data reporting.

  • Maintain and improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools using Excel, ERP systems, and BI tools.

  • Support system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Conduct deep-dives into specific business areas, providing recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, M&A projects, and other strategic initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA certification is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, preferably in [industry, e.g., DTC, e-commerce, retail].

  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, complex formulas) and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Abra) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
