Business Analyst

The PrimeRevenue Business Analyst is a pragmatic and solution-minded individual contributor who works closely with Product Managers, stakeholders, and counterparts to define and document solutions and feature requirements for product development initiatives. The Business Analyst follows agile best practices to ensure their development TEAMs deliver frequent measurable value to customers.

• Work with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand, clarify, and document business requirements.
• Collaborate on product requirements documents that identify functional and non-functional software changes.
• Work with product designers to create and deliver wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and prototypes.
• Work with engineering and QA to understand, plan, organize, refine, and estimate work items.
• Craft user stories that represent detailed component-level changes with clear and testable acceptance criteria.
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of epics and work items that align with the product vision and roadmap.
• Facilitate core ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective. 
• Participate in sprint demos and recruit relevant stakeholders to attend and provide feedback. 
• Collaborate with release management to produce release notes and communication plans.
• Ensure product documentation and help content is well maintained and up to date.

• 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst, product owner, or comparable product development role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a comparable field is preferred but not required.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is preferred but not required.
• Relevant experience in the banking, fintech, payments, insurtech, or financial services space.
• Relevant technical experience with an understanding of enterprise software development and delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Strong desire and drive to take ownership of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with the Atlassian suite including Confluence and Jira or similar tools.
• Knowledge of agile methodology and scrum or kanban.
