System Engineer for the SURF-IA projects

As a System Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Brno location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development of advanced systems for the SURF-IA projects, ensuring that solutions meet customer requirements and align with industry's best practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development and testing of advanced systems, ensuring they meet project and customer requirements.
  • Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data.
  • Provide technical support in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Some experience in systems engineering, MatLab, Python.
  • Experience with programing languages C or C++ is welcomed.
  • Ability to learn and grow within the team
  • Basic knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with software and network components, and hardware relevant to system engineering.
