We have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join our SATCOM team at Honeywell, in Brno. You will become part of an agile team that designs, develops and integrates SATCOM and connectivity systems within Honeywell Aerospace business. You will have opportunity to actively participate in creation of innovative connected aircraft solutions to enable better passenger experience as well as safe and efficient operations of the aircraft. Your goals will be aiming to use state of art technologies and to find novel ways to address business opportunities.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

  • Oversee program scope, schedule, quality, and cost, facilitate cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.
  • Manage risks, opportunities, support program manager with coordination of budgeting, forecasting, and change management.
  • Maintain and update program schedules, Work Breakdown Structure, and track project milestones.
  • Perform cost and schedule variance analysis, providing recommendations on corrective actions and financial impacts.

  • Prepare and present program metrics, forecasts, and reports for regular reviews.

  • University education in Business or Engineering field

  • 3-5 years of experience with Hardware and/or Software development projects
  • Advanced command of English language
  • Experience facilitating exchanges towards calm and productive discussions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, negotiation skills to seek win-win solutions
