We are looking for an Information Security Expert to join our team and support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our organization's information security strategy. This role is pivotal in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security practices across all IT systems and applications. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly technical, and proactive in addressing evolving security threats.

• Governance & Risk Management:

• Assist in developing and maintaining the organization's information security governance framework.

• Support risk assessments, treatment plans, and the annual security objectives review.
• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

• IT Security & Compliance:

• Ensure IT systems adhere to security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO

• Collaborate with IT to manage security configurations (e.g., Entra ID, Intune, Azure, AWS) and ensure compliance.

• Security Operations:

• Monitor security alerts, assess potential threats, and assist in vulnerability management (e.g., devices, networks).

• Perform regular security updates and fine-tune firewalls, VPNs, and Kubernetes policies.

• Incident Response & Improvement:

• Support incident investigations, ensuring proper documentation and remediation.

• Enhance incident response workflows and recommend improvements based on lessons learned.

• Project Security & Continuity:

• Integrate security into IT projects, ensuring security requirements are met.

• Assist in pen testing, disaster recovery drills, and business continuity planning.

• IT Support & Training:

• Support global security training initiatives to raise awareness across the organization.

• Provide local IT support for devices (troubleshooting, updates, resets).

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or similar security certifications are preferred but not required.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT security roles, with a strong understanding of security governance, risk management, and operational security controls.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Microsoft 365, security tools (e.g., Intune, WAF, VPN), and network security technologies.
• Experience with security monitoring tools, vulnerability management, and incident response procedures.

Skills:

• Solid understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and identity and access management (IAM).
• Ability to assess security risks and make recommendations for remediation.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and other business units.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal command of English.
