Position Overview

As part of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and implementing key components of our platform - from operating system tools to core software utilities. You'll help define system requirements, implement improvements that drive performance and efficiency, and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards of reliability and scalability.

You're an experienced engineer with a passion for solving complex problems and building systems that scale. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver innovative system software and tools that power the Alteryx platform.
• Define, implement, and maintain system software design requirements.
• Lead key projects with autonomy and confidence, ensuring successful delivery and integration.
• Establish and uphold engineering best practices, standards, and processes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.
• Solve complex technical and business challenges with creativity and precision.
• Collaborate across teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and improve system performance.
• Drive major initiatives that enhance both product capabilities and user experience.

Required Skills

• At least 5 years of professional experience, including 3+ years of specialized experience in your domain.
• Strong functional and technical expertise within your area of specialization.
• Proven ability to independently manage priorities and drive results.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and leading technical initiatives.
• A deep understanding of system dependencies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues.
• A customer-first mindset and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
