The Eastern Europe Manufacturing Region has over 1,000 employees and turnover of over €80m. The operations of the region are based in three main sites: Rychnov in Czech Republic, Bucharest in Romania and Leszno in Poland.
Currently we are looking for a Financial Manager to take over the financial management for our largest site - the AA Rychnov production Facility.
The job holder will ensure quality reporting and analysis of financial and operating trends to enhance effective decision making by the management. The job holder will be an important member of the management team, responsible for day-to-day financial management and financial analysis operations, controlling and ad hoc reporting.
Purpose of the Job:Reporting to EEM CFO, the job holder will manage and control overall financial reporting operations, provide day to day support to the business and look onto the financial performance of the company. The job holder will provide analysis of Key Performance Indicators to support business development.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality reporting and analysis of financial and operating trends to enhance effective decision making by the management.
- Ensuring consistency with, and fulfilling of, Group and Divisional internal reporting requirements.
- Monthly/ quarterly/ Yearly closing process and financial package preparation including special reports.
- Analysis of weekly and monthly results (PL and BS)
Maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure custody of assets, recognition of liabilities/receivables and accurate recording of results.
Preparation of relevant information for budgeting and forecasting (one Annual Plan, two to three yearly budgetary exercises, monthly short-range results view)
- Preparing presentations and data for business reviews and management operational reviews
- Cost controlling and expenditure approval
- Inventory monitoring and control
Monitoring of the investment projects expenditures
Cash flow monitoring
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Support Year end Audit internal audit for own entity
- May participate in further audit in the group
- Other projects and ah-hoc requests in own area of expertise
- Working hard, but having fun and good relationships with colleagues as half of daylight will spend with us
- University degree with the specialization to finance
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Strong Knowledge of controlling, preferable in prior experience in matrix environment in other international companies
- Knowledge of accounting and Income tax law
- Advanced user of office suite with focus on PowerPoint, Excel. HFM and Max ERP is an advantage
- Accurate, proactive, flexible, communicative, ability to work independently as well as in team
- Very good English skills written and verbal
- Leadership skills with a walk the talk attitude
