We are seeking an experienced BI Developer with expert-level Power BI and strong Snowflake background to deliver advanced self-service analytics solutions across multiple domains.

Location: Full Remote (EU based)
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain BI solutions with Power BI and Snowflake.

• Build scalable data models, dashboards, and reports tailored to diverse business needs.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights.

• Optimize performance of complex dashboards, data models, and queries, ensuring security and governance.

• Integrate Power BI with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and potentially IBM Cognos sources.

• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality.

• Document data lineage, architecture, and user guides.

• Support end users with BI training and promote self-service analytics.

• Contribute to best practices in data governance, access control, and automation.

• Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative team environment.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Power BI Expert (5–7+ years): DAX, Power Query (M), advanced data modeling, row-level security, performance optimization, Power BI Service governance.

• Snowflake (5+ years): SQL proficiency, dimensional modeling, fact/dimension concepts, integration with BI tools.

• Data Warehousing & Analytics (5+ years): ETL/ELT pipelines, data governance, working with large datasets.

• Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication with technical & non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouses, Pipelines, OneLake, Synapse integration).

• IBM Cognos reporting, dashboarding, or migration to Power BI.

• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).

• Project management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Agile/Scrum methodology.
