What you'll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. You will join the Liberty team that contributes to development of iOS and macOS versions of the Jamf Trust and Self Service+ apps. Your responsibilities will include writing code with unit test coverage, doing code reviews and creating or providing feedback on technical designs for new features.

The team is responsible for developing secure, reliable, and user-friendly applications and modules for Apple platforms with a primary focus on iOS, device enrollment and activation, enterprise security and enterprise device management solutions. Our work spans several interconnected apps and modules and is driven by strong intra-team and cross-team collaboration. By joining our team, you will help develop innovative solutions that empower organizations to protect their devices, streamline onboarding, and enable advanced security and privacy controls, all while ensuring a seamless user experience for end users.

Writing clean code is part of our philosophy and we use unit tests to back us up when we refactor our codebase. We also prioritize staying up to date with Swift and platform evolution, to leverage the latest tools and best practices in our development process.

Collaboration and communication are at the heart of how we operate – we approach challenges as a collective, brainstorming and problem-solving together. The team attends the office at least once a week to foster close collaboration. We are a closely-knit team and our friendship extends beyond work. What you can expect to do in this role:
  • Break down customer problems into tasks that you and the team can execute.

  • Independently complete a majority of identified tasks from start to finish with high quality.

  • Use your knowledge of engineering best practices to ask the right questions, solve problems and build great software.

  • Clearly communicate technical concepts with others in the organization (Technical Communication, Support, Product and Cloud). When you don't know the solution, proactively seek out the appropriate people in the organization for advice.

  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization.

This role is offered as a hybrid. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. #LI-Hybrid

What we are looking for:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Swift development within an enterprise environment.

  • Proficiency in Swift and a solid understanding of iOS development fundamentals, with experience using Xcode, iOS SDKs, and common Apple platform tools.

  • Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git and GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

  • Knowledge of unit testing and principles of dependency injection.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and debug existing code in collaborative projects with multiple repositories.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a highly team-oriented environment.

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced team environment with frequent cross-team collaboration.

Bonus points for:

  • Basic knowledge of networking

  • Awareness of security best practices for iOS apps, including authentication, data privacy, and secure storage.

  • Basic knowledge of App Extensions, with a focus on Network Extensions.

  • Being comfortable with CI/CD concepts and basic troubleshooting of build pipelines.
