Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial and strategic management of the Paper & Printing category for European manufacturing sites . More specifically, you will:

  • Manage our vendors' portfolio: Understand business needs and increase value across the supply base.

  • Plan and source strategically : Develop sourcing plans aligned with category strategy and vendors' requirements. Develop sourcing plans aligned with category strategy, business priorities, and supplier capabilities .

  • Lead negotiations: Drive quotes, cost analysis, and negotiations to achieve productivity and cost targets.

  • Develop suppliers (SRM): Evaluate and improve supplier performance, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance.

  • Mitigate risks & improve productivity: Identify and manage risks while driving efficiency, savings, and sustainability initiatives.

  • This is a Senior Manager Specialist position, being individual contributor.

This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.

Our Paper & Printing Procurement team provides strategic direction for procurement categories, ensuring supplier allocation and sourcing decisions align with overall business goals. It improves category management excellence by applying market intelligence, benchmarking, and continuous improvement to increase value, efficiency, and sustainability. Additionally, the department strengthens collaboration with suppliers and internal collaborators, promoting proactive engagement and delivering on our "Partner Promise."

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven procurement expertise , especially in BOM categories and supplier management, experience with packaging category would be a plus.

  • Solid experience working within manufacturing environments, ensuring materials and processes run smoothly.

  • You've succeeded in global companies, working across regions and cultures to deliver results.

  • You excel in Category Management, SRM, and negotiation, consistently bringing value.

  • You're passionate about Continuous Improvement, using tools like PDCA, Process Mapping, and Strategy Deployment.

  • You make confident decisions with strong risk management skills, applying data and tools (e.g., RAID) to get the best outcomes.

  • You know how to build influence and collaboration with partners across global and local teams .

  • You are proficient in English; Czech language is an advantage.
