Purpose of the job

Our Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple project budgets, timelines, and deliverables related to retail store executions for our esteemed globally recognized brand.

The Senior Project Manager takes an end-to-end ownership of various size projects from small mall units all the way to large flagship locations in major cities.

This role requires collaboration mainly with client's project manager, but also marketing, creative, visual merchandising, and store personnel. It's also critical in this role to manage internal resources to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality deliveries. Internally, there's mainly a touch point with our production managers, planners, logistics experts, warehouse personnel and the finance team.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, negotiator, and team player.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with our clients.
• Serve as the liaison between the client's central team and local market team or a local partner.
• Manage a high volume of projects from concept through installation with multiple moving parts.
• Translate client briefs into internal briefs and manage the project lifecycle and in-store execution.
• Drive projects through planning, development/ideation, quoting, production, and in-store execution phases.
• Maintain and update store allocations to ensure data accuracy.
• Ideate and work with client on sourcing of POS, signage, visual merchandising, display props and custom fixtures.
• Possess an advanced understanding of materials, custom builds, and fabrication for store executions.
• Create briefs, schedule, and manage site surveys.
• Understand the internal process and help improve efficiency.
• Coordinate installations and manage activities on site. Ensure proper formal handover.
• Understand retail space, blueprints, CAD drawings, and visual needs for store activations.
• Track inventory of visual elements and manage repairs as needed.
• Manage client creative team expectations and provide guidance on execution feasibility.
• Establish and communicate budgets and schedules for each project.
• Track and report project status regularly.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement effective solutions.
• Provide solution-oriented communication to suppliers and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all team members.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the client's business, brand language, and culture. Be curious.
• Stay current with competitors and other retailers to share industry awareness.
• Create case studies and execution/completion decks and presentations.
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

• Relevant experience in retail, specific to store executions.
• Experience managing marketing campaigns for in-store activations is plus.
• Experience sourcing POS, signage, visual merchandising/display props, and fabrication.
• Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures.
• Preferred account management experience within a contracted environment adhering to SLAs and KPIs.
• C2 or higher level of proficiency in English. Czech language is a great benefit. Any other language is a plus (mainly German, French, Dutch or Italian).
• High level proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel required.
• Availability for some installations
