QuidelOrtho is seeking a Senior General Ledger Accountant with focus on detail and motivated to learn. Role is based in Prague.

Senior GL accountant executes day-to-day activities supporting general accounting, payroll, intercompany transactions and monthly close activities in accordance with service delivery agreement.

  • Payroll GL Journal entries, including Payroll, Bonus and Commission accrual
  • Reconciliation of Payroll GL vs Payroll register
  • Payroll Analytics (MtM labor expenses)
  • Posting of bank transactions related to suspense accounts clearing
  • Perform intercompany accounting activities including GL reconciliations, payment proposals and invoice settlement
  • Reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Dealing with Audit Board requests (SOX controls)
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a multicultural environment
  • Accounting Certification (ACCA, CPA, Accounting Certificate, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes and initiatives
  • Experience working in a Global Shared Service Center
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS Reporting Principles
  • Knowledge of SAP S4Hana
