We are currently looking for an Accountant to join our Finance team in Prague. In this role, you will contribute to the day-to-day financial operations of our EMEA branches and gain hands-on experience in key areas such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting. You will work closely with the Finance, HR, and Operations departments, learning from experienced colleagues and gradually taking on more responsibilities.Requirements:Minimum high school diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (university degree is a plus)Understanding of the Czech accounting principles and legislationExperience with accounting Good command of English and Czech (written and spoken)Comfortable using MS Office tools, especially Excel and OutlookStrong attention to detail, a structured approach to work, and a willingness to learnA proactive mindset, team spirit, and the ability to adapt to changesResponsibilities:Ensuring proper accounting, timely submission of VAT returns, and payroll and financial reportsIssuing invoices based on billing inputs and submitting them based on client needs, analyzing AR past dueManaging accounting operations (received invoices, payment transactions including payments and credit card settlements, payroll, business travel, etc.)Supporting audits and monthly closing financial statement processes, reporting, including intercompany transactionsProviding administrative and operational support to colleagues across the regionActively participating in process improvements and ensuring compliance with financial regulationsOccasional projects and tasks as directed by the Financial Manager or CFO
