What will you be responsible for?

  • Supporting monthly closings and preparing group reporting in line with IFRS standards.

  • Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with German accounting standards (HGB).

  • General ledger accounting, including journal entries, reviews, and corrections across cost centers.

  • Managing accruals, fixed assets including depreciation, internal documents, and related entries.

  • Supporting the preparation of tax returns.

  • Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience from a previous accounting role.

  • Fluency in English; German is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of IFRS methodology or ongoing ACCA studies is a strong advantage.

  • Previous work experience with German GAAP (HGB).

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; SAP experience is a plus.

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team.

  • Proactive approach to challenges and a focus on process improvements.
