Your impact at NN

Our Data Enablement Team is on the lookout for a motivated Data Management Operations Specialist to focus on the evolving landscape of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data. You will be the backbone of our sustainability reporting, primarily responsible for the gathering and validation of ESG metrics from various internal and external sources.

Your work ensures that our proprietary assets comply with modern regulatory frameworks like SFDR and CSRD, providing accurate data that supports Finance, Risk, and key stakeholders in making sustainable investment decisions.

The tasks you will perform

• Data Gathering & Integration: Collect ESG-related data and financial instrument details from multiple platforms and external providers.
• Validation & Quality Control: Perform rigorous cross-checks using SQL scripting and Excel to ensure the accuracy and completeness of sustainability data.
• Technical Operations: Use Databricks to process large datasets and manage the maintenance of ESG attributes in our core systems.
• Visualization: Maintain and update Power BI dashboards to ensure data readiness and transparency for stakeholders.
• Process Optimization: Spot gaps in data workflows and pitch automation ideas to make ESG data collection leaner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Compliance and Risk teams to resolve data quality issues and support regulatory disclosures.

The knowledge and experience you bring

• Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Administration, or similar.
• Experience: Up to 2 years in data management, financial operations, or investment, with a strong interest in ESG/Sustainability.
• Technical Toolset: Solid proficiency in Excel; experience with (or a strong desire to learn) SQL scripting, Databricks and Power BI.
• Detail Oriented: An "eagle-eye" for detail when validating complex datasets under tight deadlines.
• Communication: Fluent English to collaborate effectively with colleagues in Prague and the Netherlands.

How we hire

After reviewing your application, including your CV in English, you will receive a short phone call from Erika (Talent Acquisition Specialist) to discuss basic details about your previous work experience and the open position. If everything goes well, we will meet twice in total. The first round will preferably be a face-to-face meeting at our office (or on-line) with Marián (Hiring Manager) and Erika. In the second round, you will meet few of our colleagues from the Netherlands.
