This Position reports to:

Digital Team Leader

We are looking for a candidate for the position of Digital Project Engineer at our European Operations Center in Ostrava.

You will be involved in deploying the latest digital solutions in industry, energy, and infrastructure on exciting projects around the world.

We are seeking candidates with a background in electrical engineering or automation, who can program and are familiar with IT—or at least have partial knowledge of the field and a desire to learn from true experts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects for the world's largest companies in industry, energy, infrastructure, and marine sectors
  • Deploy the latest digital solutions developed by ABB
  • Implement solutions based on AI, ML, Digital Twin, Predictive Maintenance, Condition Monitoring, Energy Management, MES systems, Remote Dispatching, Cybersecurity, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with automation, electrical, systems, and software development teams
  • Participate in the development and testing of new product versions for digitalization
  • Work with cloud platforms such as MS Azure and Amazon AWS
  • Occasional business trips abroad

Who We're Looking For:

  • You have a secondary or university degree in electrical engineering or IT
  • You want to work with the latest technologies and trends in digitalization
  • You have an active command of English – both written and spoken (level B2 or higher)
  • You are proactive, communicative, and capable of working independently
