Senior/Principal Solution Engineer

We're looking for a Solution Engineer / Pre-Sales Consultant who's both a data and software enthusiast—someone eager for hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI technologies and excited to shape how businesses around the world use analytics.

You'll be a member of a team that combines technical talent and creativity. Your reach will be global – engaging with customers from startups to enterprises, primarily from Europe and North America, who want to build scalable data products and integrate AI into their core business.

• Lead technical discovery and design AI-driven data solutions
• Deliver hands-on demos and proofs of concept (PoCs) featuring GoodData's AI Assistant and embedded analytics
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and UX to influence product direction
• Work with colleagues in the Czech Republic (Prague, Brno) and a few in the US
• Architect solutions and help customers integrate GoodData AI and flexible analytical components into their environments (via APIs, data pipelines, frontend SDK, etc.)
• Work with the latest features (semantic modeling, data blending, security, agentic AI, model context protocol)
• Educate the market and colleagues—contribute to creating top-tier content and mentor other team members

• Confident with Python, APIs, and data fundamentals
• Curious about AI/ML, analytics, semantic modeling, and new technologies
• A clear communicator who enjoys engaging with customers worldwide in English—freely and without stress
• Open-minded, eager to learn and adapt in a fast-growing AI industry
• Driven by solving real-world problems and delivering tangible customer value
• Knowledge of data fundamentals (databases, visualization, KPIs, modeling)

Our largest offices are in Prague and Brno, with leadership based in the US. We value flexibility—you can work remotely or onsite; what matters most is professionalism, diligence, and drive. We expect onboarding onsite and regular in-person collaboration (every two weeks or for workshops and quarterly meetings).

You'll have strong support from Product and Professional Services, but you'll be the one who runs demos, actively listens to customers, and co-creates proofs of concept that solve real problems.
