Group Head of Product Design

We're looking for an experienced Head of Product Design & Research, a strategic leader who can inspire, guide, and grow Designers & Researchers, while shaping the design and research vision across the company. You'll lead a fantastic team of 8 talented individuals - Product Designers, Researchers, and Research Ops, work closely with other Product Heads and the management team to ensure that our design and research efforts create real impact for users and the business alike.

• Can define and drive the strategic direction for both Product Design and Product Research, making sure all initiatives align with company goals and deliver value to our users;
• Has proven experience leading and mentoring teams of designers and researchers, creating a motivating environment that encourages creativity, professional growth, and collaboration;
• Is a strategic thinker with strong product mindset, able to balance user needs, business goals, and long-term impact;
• Understands the importance of evidence-based decision making and ensures research insights are actionable, relevant, and integrated into product development;
• Keeps teams ahead of the curve by monitoring industry trends, exploring new methodologies, and experimenting with AI and other innovative tools;
• Is an excellent communicator, able to inspire, influence, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization;
• Thrives on building processes, standards, and guidelines that help teams work efficiently while maintaining design and research quality.

What you will do:

• Lead the Product Design & Research team, shaping the vision, strategy, and standards for both areas;
• Mentor and develop Product Designers, Researchers, and Research Operations specialists, helping them grow their craft and reach their potential;
• Partner with Product Head and management to align design and research strategy with the company's goals;
• Ensure design and research practices are efficient, consistent, and high-quality across all products;
• Foster collaboration across teams, breaking silos, and making sure insights and design decisions inform product strategy;
• Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, continuously bringing new tools, methods, and approaches to the teams;
• Represent the design and research organization internally and externally, advocating for user-centered, evidence-based product decisions.

What makes you the perfect candidate?

• You have significant experience leading Product Design and Research teams;
• You have a strong product mindset and strategic thinking capabilities;
• You are a mentor and coach, experienced in growing talent and shaping teams;
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work with executives, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders;
• You are familiar with current design and research tools, including Figma, prototyping, user testing, and research operations;
• You have a proactive, motivating, and approachable personality, a true team player who brings energy and fun to the workplace;
• English at B2-C2 level (we are an international team).

Furthermore, you are an exceptional candidate if you have experience in any of the following:

• Experience in e-commerce, B2B/B2C products;
• Experience in implementing or evolving a design system at scale;
• Experience in leading both - Designers & Researchers
