Middle Product UX/UI Designer

Ciklum is looking for a Middle Product UX/UI Designer to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

About the role:

As a Middle Product UX/UI Designer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Our new design teammate should be able to create usability-proof UX solutions based on user research artifacts and great understanding of usability and accessibility patterns.

They should be able then to deliver high fidelity UI designs and prototype them in Figma. To collaborate with the product team on requirements for delivery and with development teams to ensure the designs are implemented correctly and consistently. To maintain and support design systems and keep all the components and styles in place.

Approaching each project conceptually, with an open mind-learning and understanding the users, business and market. Challenging yourself on optimal solutions and having a good reasoning for them.  Strong portfolio that demonstrates it.

As a part of our team, you will work on projects from various industries and different levels of complexity. No boredom, a lot of experience. One time you'll be flying through a hipsterish iOS application, and the next – challenged by complex enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Work with user research artifacts and reports
• Collaborate with user researcher if there are design hypotheses, which requires validation, testing or full research
• Collaborating with product team on requirements and planning
• Defining usability-proof UX solutions
• Creating pixel-perfect high fidelity UI designs for iOS, Android, Web Desktop & Web Mobile
• Understanding of Mobile (iOS/Android) and Web guidelines and limitations
• Creating interactive clickable prototypes in Figma
• Following and maintaining design systems
• Controlling the implementation. Ensuring development results are consistent with UX and UI and they perform properly
• Being proactive, helping to grow strong UX/UI expertise within the team. Being able to consult on various solutions, keeping up with the latest trends in mobile and web, usability, accessibility and interaction design
• Understand which ones could be implemented to improve the product and in what way

Requirements:

• Solid set of skills and experience in UX/UI design. 3+ years is what we have in mind
• Strong UI expertise including working with design systems
• Understanding user - centered design approach and UX methodologies. Being able to analyze user and business needs to define UX solutions
• Portfolio proving this experience
• Experience working in Figma - design, prototyping and design system maintenance
• Experience in collaboration with designers, developers and product team
• Effective communication skills in English – you should be able to elicit project details and clearly articulate your design decisions
