Your missionKey Responsibilities:
  • Design & Development: Lead the design and optimization of hardware components such as batteries, converters, inverters, and associated control systems.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions into customer-specific energy systems, ensuring compatibility with Wattstor's EMS and software platforms.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Design the systems, conduct thorough testing, and implement quality control processes to validate performance, safety, and reliability of hardware systems.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and competitive products to inform continuous hardware innovation and drive Wattstor's technological edge.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce detailed design specifications, test reports, and integration guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software developers and other technical engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration, optimizing overall system functionality.
  • Deployment Support: Participate in on-site deployments and provide technical expertise during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of hardware solutions.
Your profileRequired Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in hardware engineering, focusing on batteries, inverters, DC/DC converters or power electronics.
  • Understanding of energy management principles and hands-on experience with hardware integration.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing equipment.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize hardware systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Keen interest in renewable energy technologies and sustainable practices.
