Was founded in 1884 in Trieste (Italy) by Lionello Stock, industrialist and entrepreneur together with his business partner, Carlo Camis as a steam wine distillery "Distilleria a vapore Camis & Stock". At that time company's main product was cognac "Medicinal".
By the 1920s the Stock company was one of the largest companies of its kind in Europe. Now, Stock Spirits is among the leading alcohol beverage companies in Europe. In November 2021 it was acquired by CVC Capital Partners.

Position Overview & Summary
We are looking for an experienced and independent colleague to join us as a Legal & Public Affairs Manager for the Czech and Slovak Republics, who will serve as a key partner to the company's leadership team.
This role combines legal expertise, strategic thinking, and relationship management to ensure full legal compliance while supporting the business objectives of Stock Spirits Group in the region.
You will work cross-functionally with different teams, represent the company in industry associations, drive the CSR and ESG agenda, and — in direct cooperation with the Managing Director and company leadership — contribute to the strategic direction of the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance of company activities with local legislation in CZ & SK
- Manage and archive contracts and confidentiality agreements with customers and suppliers
- Oversee the ESG and CSR agenda from a governance and local regulatory perspective
- Collaborate across departments in developing internal policies, processes, and procedures
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on business operations
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders – associations, government bodies, and partners
- Represent the company in trade associations and communicate Stock's positions on key topics
- Support external relations, corporate communications, and media-related activities
- Actively participate in strategic projects and support management in decision-making processes
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- Master's degree in Law
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Legal, Public Affairs, or Regulatory Affairs
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate legal implications into business context
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – both in Czech and English
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and institutions
- A self-driven, responsible, and solution-oriented approach
- Proactivity and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience in an international environment or FMCG industry is a strong advantage
