Logistics Order Management Specialist Junior

The Logistics Order Management Specialist Junior is responsible for creating documentation consisting of Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Customs Instructions and Transportation Requests in a manner that shall meet business fulfillment requirements in parallel with the goal of doing due diligence where necessary. The position is responsible for processing client's shipment requests and communicating all necessary information related to ongoing shipments, as well as providing logistics support and consulting.

Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming shipment requests in accordance with legal and customer requirements including:
  • shipment characteristics
  • type of incoterm
  • equipment type
  • service level
  • level of urgency
  • transit time
  • loading and offloading requirements
  • Coordinate the Order Management process including:
  • confirming correctness of customs codes and part numbers, their HS codes and ECCNs
  • obtaining missing details from the requestors
  • selecting carrier in accordance with the process
  • providing carrier, shipper, broker and consignee all required documents and information
  • proactive approach to issue resolution and shipment ownership
  • actively use Allyn Logistics Application (ALA Cloud)
  • accurately issue shipping documentations such as commercial invoice, customs instructions, packing lists and raising transportation requests
  • communication with freight forwarders, requestors, consignees, clients and internally within the team
  • proactively working on up to date data integrity, file retention and correctness of information
  • monitoring and tracking the shipments and keeping client informed about status
  • participate in team meetings, conference calls and project management calls with Allyn team and with the client
  • provide high level customer service to Allyn customers
  • any additional tasks related to scope of work agreed with the client
  • perform Allyn core values, actively promote team work and represent Allyn according to company culture
