Job Overview:

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our team in Brno, Czech Republic.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Handling of Project Engineering and Supplier documents, i.e. preparations for internal and/or external distribution and routing, copying, filing

  • Registration, distribution and filing of Supplier documents

  • Checking and handling of outgoing document transmittals

  • Provision/arranging of administrative services to Project Engineering disciplines, when possible

  • Expedite internal review of Supplier documents

  • Assisting in maintenance and/or closeout of project files

  • Handling of copying requests for documents from hardcopy/e-mail/cd-rom/etc. for project team members

  • Provision of (or assistance in) administrative services to internal/external Client, when possible

  • Give guidance to less experienced Document Ctrl spec

  • Responsible for application of Environmental Policy and Procedures within his area of responsibility.

  • Show flexibility and ensure proper hand-over with regards to:

  • The reassignment to other projects

  • The replacement of colleagues during illness and holidays

  • The provision of assistance to other colleagues with heavy workload (also other projects) when possible/desirable

  • The managing/learning of current/future working methods and software applications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Experience with Excel (beginner or advanced)

  • Affinity with the document control domain
