What will you do

Billing & Order Entry Team Lead plays a pivotal role in driving positive results through managing timely orders review and billing, identifying Policy inconsistencies and reporting KPIs.

How you will do it

  • Leading the team with focus on quality, while fulfilling deadlines

  • Managing the regular and ad-hoc workload, distribution of tasks, monitoring FTEs, driving development sessions with team-members

  • First point of contact for colleagues in BUs, and cross-locations

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for escalations and high priority issues related to the scope

  • Perform and coordinate all necessary activities in the field of order validation & release

  • Oversight of customer orders validation in accordance with Policy requirements and other business processes guidelines, e.g.

  • Contract value and gross margin approved per DOA,

  • Contract booked within standard payment terms,

  • GM booked in ERP isn’t lower than originally recognized,

  • Holding if customer has past due AR or credit limit exceeded.

  • Communicate effectively with necessary parties to ensure order details and documentation are updated, and appropriately entered in the system

  • Coordinate with Legal, Finance and/or Sales teams for error resolution

  • Ensure billing activities are performed timely (within the SLA)

  • Ensure billing quality (billing checklist adherence, accuracy)

  • Create and update KPI and ad-hoc reports

  • Design, develop and interpret complex analyses to support management decision-making

  • Identify and communicate potential policy and/-or operational improvements that will enhance order validation & release / billing process quality

  • Adopt, communicate, and enforce Credit and Payment Terms policies

    What we look for

  • Prior leadership experience (experience with leading teams of approx. 12 employees)

  • Proactivity and ownership oriented

  • Relevant experience of 5 years in Finance department/Operations and minimum 2 years with leading and developing people.

  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills

  • Strong process knowledge in Order to Cash

  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in Stakeholder’s relation management

  • General accounting knowledge

  • Analytical skills, Ability to interpret the data and drive improvements, make recommendations for process changes

  • Plan, think and make decisions in strategic context

  • Strong Excel knowledge

  • Oracle knowledge is an advantage

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, result-orientation, responsibility, flexibility

  • Managing of stressful situations

  • Fluent English and German, other languages are advantage

  • Experience of working in Shared Service Centre/Retained/Outsourced environment

    Our benefits

Besides working in an international environment, you will receive a €3000 joining bonus (subject to T&C’s), plus a regularly monthly bonus after your first six months , meal vouchers, a recreation allowance and retail discounts. Additionally, our flexible benefits program will allow you to customize benefits from a selection of 3500 products and service such as gym membership, medical cover, a multi-sports card plus many more.

Our onsite facilities at our Bratislava based office includes a fitness centre, canteen, nursery and coffee machines located on every floor.

If you are relocating to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you setup your new life in Slovakia.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1800 EUR per month and a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
